[comp.sys.apple2] CP/M cards....

NOWAKO09@SNYBUFVA.BITNET (APPLE //GS - THE POWER TO BE YOUR BEST) (11/12/90)

If I invested in a CP/M card (low cost) would I be able to run programs
written on an IBM using MeSsy DOS? If not I may buy a PC Transporter (High Cost)
. Whats out there nowadays for CP/M anyhow? I remeber it was big thin in the
late 70s early 80s but how about now?
One other thing....whats up with the Duet, the supposed Mac Emulation Card from
Cir-Tech? Vaporware? Hardware? Tableware? Underware?

No!

How about BDS C v1.6, Mix C, Booz (unzoo), ZNode BBS Software, and...
get THIS... UUCP! I've been running UUCP on my home Apple II for
some time now. Ask me!

The UUCP that I have for CP/M is very slick - it includes file transfers
from one system to the other (the program uucp), as well as news and
mail... you could even write a gateway if you wanted to!
