Very strange problem ocurring suddenly with my AWGS V1.1. I'm using GS/OS 5.0.2 and have had no problems with either like this since I first got my IIGS a couple years ago. Last night I entered the WP module and began to write a letter. When I made a typo I backspaced as usual but it did not totally delete it. It was as though it was off by half a column in its positioning. When I thought it looked alright, I went out, saving the file, then came back in. In looking at the "deleted" areas I found in some cases it looked as though parts of one line had been superimposed on another. I again tried deleting and this time it would take parts of the words *after* the area being deleted as well as parts of what I was trying to delete. Very confusing to say the least. I can think of nothing that might cause this as I have added no CDA's or NDA's since last time I used it without troubles. The comm and db modules work fine as does the graphic module. And the WP module does everything else fine. It just suddenly doesn't delete properly. I'm on a ROM 01 IIGS with a 20 mg hard drive, 2.5 mg internal RAM. Help!
