[comp.sys.apple2] Downloading...help!

Hello all....

	I just got my modem up and running (thanks to all who sent me info
on different modems).  I now have a problem...
	Whenever I download a large file...I get errors and it aborts.
This occurs with every communications program that I use.  What am I doing
wrong?  I have resorted to text capture for the time being....but its a pain!

	I have a IIgs Rom1, 1 meg of memory, supramodem 2400.  
	(a bit plain, but functional.)
