Recently I donated my old Laser 128 to my church so they could keep track of address, bookkeeping, etc. One thing they would like to get for it is a hard drive. I'm not sure what I should reccomend for them. I know that Chinook has remarketed there //c 20 and 40 meg hard drives. Would this work? Or could they simply purchase an external drive that would normally work on a //e? I'm kinda confused over wether the Laser should be considered a //c clone or //e clone. I remember that I could plug my AMR 3.5 inch disk drive up to it and dasiychain a 5.25 drive after that. Does this mean it is like a //c? Any help would be appreciated and tax deductable. - Confused in Buffalo - Joe Nowakowski - nowako09@snybufva

You should be able to get a SCSI controller and plug in any SCSI HD to a Laser 128. This would be better than Chinook's CT20c and CT40c drives because those things are s-l-o-w (the SmartPort isn't all that fast). ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Scott Alfter _/_ / v \ Apple II: Internet: alfter@uns-helios.nevada.edu ( ( the power to be your best!
