I work at the Music Computer lab here on campus, and in there we have two
IIgs's that I've been playing around with. Anyway, these are original Woz
machines, original ROMs (ROM 00?). The system utilities disks are gone, so
I've only been using it as a Apple //e. Anyway I have a few questions. (I
should add that I haven't been able to find someone to give me the go ahead
to get them upgraded to at least ROM 01, so I'll try to make do like this
until next semester.)
1. Whats the newest version of the System that I can run?
2. Is it legal to send it to me?
3. The same goes for Prodos 16.
I'm tired of having to use Apple systems utilities for a //c, //e, on the
GS's. (BTW, the version of them is 2.1.1)
Thanks for any info! (Sorry if I made any mistakes in what I'm assuming. I
have an Atari ST at home, and am just getting into this Apple thing.)
p.s. I do have ftp access, so I can get to about everywhere!
