When making a DStatus to GS/OS, on some systems it returns an error code of $2C. This appears to be undocumented anywhere I've looked, but it might be a new error number added to sys 5.0.x that I'm unaware of. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- >> Tim Meekins <<>> Snail Mail: <<>> Apple II << >> meekins@cis.ohio-state.edu <<>> 8372 Morris Rd. <<>> Forever! << >> timm@pro-tcc.cts.com <<>> Hilliard, OH 43026 <<>> << -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

[Tim Meekins asks about error $2C] Error $2C, dvrBadCount, means an invalid byte count. -- Henry Throop THROOP@GRIN1.BITNET throoph@jacobs.cs.orst.edu

Error $2C is a Driver error meaning "invalid byte count." I believe it's documented in the current manuals. --Dave

GS/OS Error $2C is "drvrBadCount", or, in English, "invalid byte count". You'd
probably have to do something real screwy to make that happen...
