Okay, I was just telling someone three days ago how I hadn't done a real backup of my hard disk in a while since I had backups of the important files. This still holds, but... I just found 7 files with blocks in common that ProSel-16 Volume Repair won't fix. This wouldn't be sooo bad except that one is in my AppleWorks directory entry. So, When you take a directory in ProDos-8 or GS/OS, it shows up empty. I can't access my files. So, I'll make a full backup. But, what program can I use to re-attach the directory information? I assume that the data is still valid elsewhere. I have a huge archive of utility programs. Which will do it? If someone can explain how to accomplish this with ProSel's block warden, I may do that as well if it's not too long a procedure. Note: the data is on the disk. But two files are claiming it. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Todd A.
