I just had a thought about what Andy Nicholas might have been hired at Apple for.... To write FSTs! Think about it. His ShrinkitGS program can unarchive all sorts of archives from other machines. Therefore he has a broad exposure to many systems ( by way of studying the archive structures). This would give him a decisive advantage when trying to figure out how to write FSTs for us. Comments? (No flames please..it is _only_ conjecture after all) -- Kevin S.
