[comp.sys.apple2] Crashing, system error 0308

duerksen@bsu-cs.bsu.edu (Joel L. Duerksen) (12/15/90)

My system keeps crashing frequently, I get the bouncing apple with
0308 as the error. This is my system

Slot
mem GSauce fully populated with 4Meg of sims
4 ZIP GSX
7 10 Meg FCP Sider
1 Grappler+
2 Micromodem II
3 Ast Video Digitizer

I've tried unloading all of DAs etc. I crash just leaving the system
on, however occasionally it crashes while I'm using it too. Yes
I did turn Keyboard buffering off. Anyone have any suggestions?
I use to crash without the Zip chip, I think I just crash faster now :-).

$308 is HeartBeat Queue Damaged error. You mention you removed all DAs.
How about all inits.

The best solution is to send me the ZIP GSX and I'll disappear from your
life. :-) :-)

Actually, remove your cards, and add them back one by one. Use a fresh
System Disk, etc. If you still have the problem with no cards, you have
a problem.
