Seems to be right around this area too. Even my college - Cardinal Stritch
is caught up in Macs. But then hey... All that red tape... At least it's
EASIER to own a Mac. People will sell and fix those!

Speaking of commercials --- In that new commercial for **** ugh.. Now I
can't think! I had it and now its gone... Anyway, two boys at a computer
desk all you can see is the keyboard. Sure looks like a GS keypad to
me! Dimentions, layout, mouse off keyboard, coiled cord, etc...
either that or an old mac keyboard w/o function keys. Anyone seen it?
Just thought I'd mention it... :-)

Schools in my area seem to be going for Macs, primarily because Apple doesn't
say ANYTHING at all about the Apple II. I had a wonderful experience today: I
showed some teachers what THEIR Apple IIGS's could do, and they were both
annoyed and bitter that they didn't know about this before.... One said "why
weren't you around in June when I bought my Mac SE?"

(The school has about 20 Mac+'s... all new, 2 IIGS's... one with the cruddy
Composite colour... and about half a dozen IIe's...)

Anyway, it was heartwarming to see that the IIGS can sell itself on its own
merits, and that people who have no interest or care in Apple per se, can be
shown how they are being deceived by an increasingly more slimy company....
<sorry> I refer, of course, to Apple Canada.
