This I found completely annoying. It's not a bug, but rather an error on the user's part. I have sciibin running on the Unix box, but it won't take any filenames longer than 14 characters (without screwing with the kernel, which is the LAST thing I want to do!). Some people decide to make a 15 character long filename with their BINSCII archives, which doesn't work with Unix. COULD PEOPLE PLEASE USE <= 14 CHARACTERS FOR THEIR FILENAMES! This would make life real easy. /* Marek Pawlowski, marekp@{generic|pnet91|contact|bkj386|torag|aunix}.uucp */ /* President, Intelligent Twist Software, 250 Harding Blvd, PO BOX 32017 */ /* Richmond Hill, Ontario, L4C 9M7, CANADA. UNIX isn't limited to 14-character names. In fact, I just dropped out of rn long enough to create a file with a _78_-character name (the entire alphabet repeated three times). Maybe you have some strange version of UNIX. We're running 4.2 BSD here--and that isn't even a current version!
