I have a Woz IIgs, Apple DMA SCSI, Rodime 45M HD, TWGS (latest), and a GS-RAM+ w/4M (latest). They all seem to work OK a fair amount of the time, but things do blow up a little more often than I'd like. Anyway, I've noticed that if I keep a 1600K RAMDisk, it very seldom crashes (mostly buggy programs), whereas with no RAM disk it crashes all the time, usually problems with the hard disk. So, I'm thinking there's a bad RAM chip in there somewhere. I went through with AE's GSRAMTest.System v1.6 says there are no problems, as does AWGS memory test (I think, I didn't try it again last night). Anyway, I'm wondering what section of RAM the DMA SCSI card works with...is the suspect chip in the first bank or 4th bank, or what? I managed to get this card with no docs or software from my local Apple dealer (lots of mix-ups, I could have gotten the dox if I wanted to wait longer) and I don't care to talk with them again. Any ideas anyone? Thanks, Mike --- Mike Aos "I own a Harley, not just a T-shirt!"
