I know that there is a DeARC for the //e, but know of nothing for unzipping on the //e. -- This is my ".sig" file. (I can tell, you're excited now....) In-Reply-To: message from lucifer@world.std.com Unfortunately I do not have either of the two. Now that the answer is seemingly no, would it be a relatively simple task to write a program either in assemble or applesoft that when fed the appropriate parameters, un-pack the information? It would be neat, so to speak, to have such a program, that could unpack or pack a file given a specific compression code you provide. I bet pirates would have a great deal of fun with that however... ---- ProLine: joeq@pro-odyssey Internet: joeq@pro-odyssey.cts.com UUCP: crash!pro-odyssey!joeq ARPA: crash!pro-odyssey!joeq@nosc.mil

I think I have the source code for the //gs version of Unzip lurking about. Not that it would do you any good since I think it is in C. -- Kevin S. I think I have the //gs Unzip source code lurking about somewhere but it is in C (I think). As for a program for file compression with parameters, I actually had a similar idea the other day but for the //gs (listen up developers): A toolbox set that does file compression/decompression in all the popular formats. Imagine the kinds of programs you could write. (Of course that wouldn't help you in your immediate problem.) -- Kevin S.
