[comp.sys.apple2] Question regarding redball joystick for Apple Computers

hackman@pnet51.orb.mn.org (-8 Otto "Hack-Man" Heuer 8-) (01/25/91)

Hi. I was just wondering (well, not "just", I've been looking for five or
six years now) if any company makes a version of the "redball" joystick
(like the kind that you see on arcade games) for the Apple computers
(I have a GS if it matters).

I've seen them in stores for Atari, Comodore, etc, for dirt cheap (as opposed
to the $40 you pay for a lousy joystick for the Apple) and have been trying
to find ANYPLACE that makes them for Apples.

If anyone has info on where to find them (mail order or national chain of
stores is fine), please send the name of the company and a phone number
if you have it. Please use email, as I am unable to keep up with the
volume in this newsgroup. If there is interest, I can summarize results
in a followup posting.

Thanks in advance.
