Someone wanted to know how to convert 320 mode graphics to 640 mode graphics. Here are three programs that do a good job and are recommended. 1. Second Chance - gray to gray conversion. Very accurate. Also has a number of image enhancement/tweaking features. Available from Raptor, Inc. Raptor has a Direct Connect area on America Online in the Apple II Art & Graphics Forum. 2. SuperConvert - not released, yet. Due by the end of this month. Much improved version of SHRConvert. Has all SHRConverts features plus a lot more. Imports both Allison and old AST Vision Plus raw image files. Converting files any standard IIGS graphic mode is supported. Will use up to 16 palettes if chosen. Color to gray, color to color conversions are supported. Very, very nice program. Seven Hills Software will release this program. 3. The Graphic Exchange. Primary advantage is TGE's expandability. Does decent but not outstanding conversions to 640 mode. Highly recommended for converting IIGS graphics to Print Shop formats. Available from Roger Wagner Publishing. Freeware... ShowPic5.4. Does pretty good conversions to 640 mode. This is an NDA. It has bugs, but hey, it's free. -- *Scott Gentry |UUCP:uunet!ingr!gentrys | * *Intergraph Corporation |America Online: AFL Scott |I speak for myself * *2051 Mercador Drive |GEnie: W.GENTRY | * *Reston, VA 22091 |CIS:72000,1536 (rarely) | *
