Howdy all. I am posting this for a friend whose net access is currently hosed, so PLEASE RESPOND TO THE ADDRESS GIVEN AT THE END OF THIS FILE, NOT TO ME, THE POSTER. Thanks. -Dale Ok. It seems as though this person (his name is Ted) is having problems with his GS freezing up. The symptoms are: cursor flash slowing down by itself in Proterm 2.1 (booted from P8), and eventually freezing; entering the cda menu, having 1/2 of the Control Panel screen draw and then hang (or crash; can't remember). He originally thought it was the battery, since he has gone over 3 years with the current one, but it doesn't sound like anything I've seen before. His system consists of: Woz Edition Rom01, 768k (Apple Exp.), System Saver, 2 3.5 drives. NO accelerator or HD involved in this one. I, for one, am stumped, and he doesn't want to take it to his local dealership, due to possible excessive depletion of his bank account. Any info or insight would be much appreciated.
