[comp.sys.apple2] GS keyboard

Does the GS keyboard have an ADB adaptor so it could be used as a
keyboard for MAC? If so, is it possible to order the GS keyboard
from a mail order company and such?

Actually, it's the other way around. The GS was the first machine to
use ADB, so naturally its keyboard and mouse are ADB devices. Then
the Mac people started using ADB on their machines, and it is
currently used by all Macs above the Mac Plus, which still uses the
old telephone handset connector.

As I recall, both the GS and Mac keyboards use the ADB port, so you wouldn't
need any sort of "adaptor". In fact, I'm using the Apple Extended II on my GS
right now.

I prefer the 101 style keyboard, and have found one for sale fairly cheaply
that is made for the Mac. I want to use it on my GS, and was wondering if
there was any way to get the use of all the extra keys? Are my arrows
going to work? Is the keypad goinf to be the same? Is there anyway to
tell the GS that I have a better keyboard??

Please reply in e-mail
