First I was just wondering if anyone knows what happened to husc6.harvard.edu's apple archives? It used to be there happily living in the /pub directory but nowit's simply nowhere to be found (not husc6 just the apple archives) For some reason the ReadMe file I had from husc6 somehow got deleted and I don't know whomaintains the archive so any info would be appreciated. Also considering the volume of discussion about GS/OS v 5.0.3 it might be advantageous if someone who knew would post what revision is in the archive at tybalt.caltech.edu (131.215.139.100). _____________________________________________________________________________ | Robert Mayer | The ideas in this message do not | | maye_ltd@uhura.cc.rochester.edu | necessarily reflect those of the author| | MAYELTD@UORVM.BITNET | or anyone else for that matter... | |___________________________________|_________________________________________| | | | 1000101 1000101 1001011 01000001 <-- You do the translation | |_____________________________________________________________________________|

Help would be greatly appreciated on any of the following: -What can be done to make software run when launched from newer system disks when it ran fine on older ones but now crashes? -I've run into a problem trying to launch some programs from my hard disk. If I boot a system disk from my 3.5 drive and then launch the program from my hard disk, the program works fine. However, when I launch it straight from the hard drive it crashes. This even happens when I boot the same version (5.0.3) as I have on my hard disk. Any idea what causes this? -I've been getting tool error $004C (tool not found or something like that) sometimes when trying to boot off the hard drive. What exactly is this error and what causes it? (I have all the tools installed) Thanks! {~{> -- =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+= | Basilisk, who is he?
