Here are a bunch of totally unrelated questions which I've saved up until I had enough to bother posting... 1) Who's this "Bullwinkle Moose" that the FTA Xmas demo keeps referring to? (Assuming it's not the cartoon character... :-) 2) I have an Apple IIGS with an Epson FX-80 printer and a Practical Peripherals Microbuffer II card. Has anyone had any success getting GS/OS to print on this thing? Currently I *almost* get a picture, but it has a bunch of white horizontal lines running through it and a lot of text garbage and form feeds get inserted. Is there any combination of settings that will work? 3) I can't get some of the System Loader calls (most notably InitialLoad) to work under TML Pascal II. The unit lists this call as external, but the linker can't find the external code at link time. If it just doesn't work, is there a workaround? 4) How can I send mail to someone on the Well (Whole Earth 'Lectronic Link) from an InterNet site? How can he send mail to me? 5) I've got a list of FTP sites; is there a list of _telnet_ sites? (With port #s and what's there of course; you can telnet just about anywhere) Thanks... and BTW, I'm looking for classic .sig "cute quotes" of the past (or any cute quotes). So if you've got any particular clever || funny ones, send 'em in... -- {_ "It's not how high you are, _} Disclaimer: Ben Rudiak-Gould _} it's Hi, how are you?" {_ Opinions are mine... benji@euler.berkeley.edu {_ -- Mike Sugarbaker _} Mine...
