** I posted a similar message a week or so ago but never *** ** saw it appear or received any responses. Here we go! *** Now that all of the chatter for and against the various For Sale postings has died down maybe someone can answer a few questions for me. Are there any policies that prohibit the formation or distribution of a list devoted specifically to For Sale notices? How many of you think that we need a list devoted to the distribution of For Sale notices for Apple products? I personally think if such a list were created it should also include MAC items since many of these are of interest to Apple // users. If there is nothing prohibiting the distribution of such a list I volunteer my resources to see that it will get done. I have written a digestifier that will completely automate the process for me and will send out a daily digest and I can run the entire thing through my personal account here. Please let me know what you think! Please respond directly to me unless you think your reply will be of particular interest to the group! Have Fun, B. There is a newsgroup called misc.computers.for.sale (or something to that general effect), but many of us either don't get that feed, or we don't bother going through it. You are suggesting a misc.for.sale.apple2 newsgroup, which would be nice. I don't know the formalities involved in setting up ones own newsgroup, and to be effective, it should reach a large population of Apple II users. For now, I think the occasional For Sale posting to csa2 is fine. Brian T. Tao {taob@pnet91.cts.com} || Computer guru?
