[comp.sys.apple2] Location of IIGS System Disk

giovin@ecs.umass.edu (02/05/91)

Hi,
I was wondering if there's a copy of the latest IIGS System Disk
around that I could download. Is it illegal to copy this? I always
thought that Apple allowed its customers to make copies of the new
system disks but lately the dealers have been saying that they can
only order a system disk package for me for lots of bucks. -- As if
I want to wait for it to come in-- a new version will probably be
out by that time.
I'd really appreciate any help here. Thanks, Rocky

They still should give you a copy if you bring in your own disks.
If not, call Apple's 800 number and complain..

But you can also get the System Disk off of Apple's ftp site..
(apple.com)

FTP to apple.com and look in pub/dts/aii/sys-soft.
