I am looking for the current version of ProDOS 8, and the most recent version of BASIC.SYSTEM. My local computer store thinks the latest is P8, V 1.3, but I have been running P8 V 1.7 for about eight months now. I don't remember where it came from, and I'm afeered it's going to get buggy one of these days, and I need a master. And the latest version of BS that I have is 1.1. Antiques? Maybe. I just want to stay semi-current, y'dig? So, if you have info on ordering this stuff (I'd like current manals, unless they're the same as the old ones), just post it here, or reply to this post. I believe the latest P8 is 1.9 and I know the BASIC.SYSTEM I have is
v 1.4. I don't remember if a new version came out with P8v1.9. Also, going
along with previous messages, get it from apple.com, GEnie, AOL if you can.
Liscencing agreements forbid the posting of System software without approval
and possibly a fee? I'm sure about the approval from Apple.
