[comp.sys.apple2] CP/M

Question. Where can one obtain some of the 20,000+ CP/M programs for an
Apple II with a CP/M board?

If you have access, you can send anonymous FTP to the SIMTEL server. If
you have PCPursuit or Starlink access (or don't mind the toll charges), you
can call any number of RCP/M (Remote CP/M) BBSes still supporting CP/M.
Here in San Diego, the San Diego Computer Society BBS has a large CP/M area
(call 619-549-9137 or 619-549-9142 at 300/1200/2400 baud), as does Z-Node 9
(call 619-270-3148).

You can also look for a CP/M user group, or local Bulletin Boards in your
area. Most, if not all CP/M programs will run on the Apple II series with
the CP/M card, so you have a large choice to play with. Hope this helps.

Cordially............Stuart

You might try a User Group. One group, LOGIC, maintains a small library for
CP/M disks (but lots for DOS, ProDOS, IIGS, etc.). You can write to LOGIC at
P.O. Box 696, Station "B", Willowdale, Ontario, Canada M2K 2P9

Logic is a non-profit organization, incorporated in the province of Ontario.
