INITShare is a great init/cdev that allows floppy-only appleshare clients to extend the contents of their System Folder to a secondary folder shared on an Appleshare server. I'd like to see a list of which items others are successfully sharing via INITShare. My list includes: AutoIdle (screen saver) General Keyboard MacinTalk Monitors Mouse PopChar Disinfectant INIT KeyAccess (Sassafras Software's launch control INIT) I am also experimenting with Suitcase II so that I could share fonts and DAs, but I have experienced lock-ups from time to time. According to Jaap Snijders, one of the authors of INITShare, LaserWriter and Broadcast cannot be shared. What have others found to work, or not work? Jim Bradley, CNR Computer Facility, UC Berkeley

[several software titles removed] >Jim Bradley, CNR Computer Facility, UC Berkeley I have heard of Macintalk, Suitcase II and Disinfectant for the Mac, put not for any Apple II systems. Certainly I have never heard of any of the other dozen or so titles mentioned. Are these PD or are they included in some DA/INIT commercial disk? None of these particularly appeals to me (Twilight is close enough to AutoIdle), however I would be most interested in MacInTalk GS (I doubt the Apple II speaker is up to the task). Maybe it's just late at night and this person has posted Mac Stuff in the Apple II newsgroup? UUCP: bkj386!pnet91!ericmcg INET: ericmcg@pnet91.cts.com
