It seems to me that obsolete technology can often be expensive to produce, as you have to look for obscure, unused component parts. I think the Mac + and SE cost more to make than the marginally better Classic. Comparing the GS to a Mac or '386. Well, if you want to run zippy spread sheets, Microsoft Word, etc. then the GS is junk. If you want to make your own movies with computer generated images and sterio music, rock the neighboorhood, program for a Toolbox based GUI <> AND <> the traditional text environment <> AND <> a custom graphical environment, etc., then anything BUT the GS is junk. That's why I have a GS.
