[comp.sys.apple2] building a hard drive: cases

sk2f+@andrew.cmu.edu (Seth D. Kadesh) (02/27/91)

I will be getting a bare hard drive this friday, and I need suggestions
as to where I can get a case and power supply. I've heard that Tulin
cases are good, but I haven't seen any advertisements for them. The
best price I've found is in Computer Shopper - $54 for a case that holds
two half height drives, and a 30 watt power supply.

You can get a case that holds two drives with a fan and power
supply (I -think- 40 watts but don't quote me on that) for $50 from
Halted Specialties in Sunnyvale..

I would guess that they might ship stuff with an extra fee...you'd
still be saving a hell of a lot of money!
