I'd like to counter it.  I think that book was horrible.  Now I saw it back
in the mid 80's, I don't know if they've rewritten it since then but I
thought it really "bit the big one".

There was at least a second edition, I helped transcribe it into braille.
I must say also that the parts that I read didn't seem that bad.
