I couldn't help but read about the Apple II rumor...I agree that it may help the Apple II. Plus, at least we won't lose dealer expertise as far as the Apple II is concerned! :) I also read about the new Laser Printer for the Mac that prints at 360dpi and does about a page a minute...suggested retail is $599!!! Yes, it does not have Apple II drivers...YET! I talked with our on campus Apple (read: Macintosh) representative and he said that Apple II drivers for the new printer will be available by the fall. I don't know if he meant Apple II in general, or just Apple IIgs (GS/OS) drivers...I am just reporting what I heard. I know a page a minute is slow, but for the price and quality, I am willing for the wait! Long live the Apple ][! Mike mkheintz@vela.acs.oakland.edu
