"Termination Power" IS a real and very accurate term.

SCSI termination isn't just a simple resistor, it is a voltage divider between
the power rails assumed to be used by devices on the bus (I think 5v and ground
like TTL). Somebody has to supply the upper power rail to the termination
resistors, and that's what they mean when they talk about termination power.

At least one (I forget if it is exactly one) device on the bus has got to
supply termination power or else the termination resistors are going to look
like a bunch of resistors to ground and a bunch of resistors to common point
that is floating with no fixed voltage.
