Wanna copyright something? Here's what you do. Print it out on paper and stuff it in an envelope. Address teh envelope to yourself and seal it well. Take it to the post office and send it CERTIFIED MAIL (this is the $2.00). When you receive the package, sign for it, and keep the package, your signed copy, and the return receipt from the post office together in a safe palace (a Safe Deposit Box works well). If anyone violates your copyright, take the whole bundle to a lawyer and sue. What you have is an OFFICAL US Government document that dates the material you wrote. It could be a book, a program, or anything at all. It could even be a film. The date on the certified package is your copyright date. Cheaper than a lawyer. -- | kreme@nyx.cs.du.edu |The Coven BBS (303) 777 2911 PCP via CODEN Stalr*nk too| |---------------------|100 Megs of storage. Areas for IBM/MAC/Apple.
