Hello, fellow HyperC users. This is an announcement of two problems I have found with HyperC. I am using the ProDOS version of HyperC with the floating point extension. The first is an annoyance. In 'ed' characters that would go beyond the right side of the screen disappear. When you reach that last column, one character gets lost and then 'ed' wraps you to the next line. That is not really bad, since you don't really want to run beyond the right side of the screen when typing anyway. What is bad is that if you are inserting in the middle of a line and this shifts characters off the right side they vanish, too. So long my faithful ';'! The second is probably due to the first, but it shouldn't have happened. The file fp.h on the floating point extension disk has some missing ')' on the macros that perform any float with integer calculations. This shows up as a compiler "missing ')'" error even when you can seen that it isn't so. Check out your copy of the fp.h file to see if this needs fixing. (I'd like to know if anyone else has this problem.) There are 7 or 8 lines that need the extra ')' added and they are all obvious because they are long. -- Anthony Veale' veale@coma.colorado.edu You're failing to take into Grad.
