[comp.sys.apple2] LHG Lord High Giffer-where can I get it?

LHG is a RSN shareware program written by Me! and it will be released
AS SOON AS UNKNOWN GETS OFF MY CASE ABOUT IT.

just kidding.

What's really holding LHG up is the fact that it was originally derived from
a GIF file parser I wrote for research purposes, and I need to restructure it
a bit to eliminate four big problems which disqualify it for public release.
(I have high standards for my software -- sniff.)

	1. memory hog -- both GIF file and 8 bit image required in memory
	2. only 1 display mode (320, 1 palette) is currently supported
	3. color converter is too @#^$&#*! slow (but it works amazingly well)
	4. no desktop interface, only shell arguments and finder icons

I realized something last night that will enable me to fix the memory usage
a lot more quickly than I originally thought. I'm beginning to get the hang
of the code Genesys cranked out when I tried making a sample set of menus
with it, so things are starting to come together.

I'm not going to promise a release date (that'd be stupid), I'm just going
to have to ask everybody (especially Unknown) to realize that I'm a college
junior who can barely afford the school he's in. I have to put in more hours
for my other jobs before I can get back to LHG, but it's likely that I'll
be able to make that happen sometime over the weekend.
