I just got my latest copy of A+/Incider and in it is an advertisement for zip technogies zip gs. The boast of its expandability and everything else. The big catch is the fact that it comes standard with an 8k cache memory and 7Mhz of power, and It only costs 149.99. My question is-how is this price compared to the other accelerators and is this a reputable company, will they give me the support that AE is now refusing its loyal GS constomers. Any information on this matter would be greatly, greatly appreciated. If I can get enough favorable responses my g/f might purchase it for me, but don't let that bias your evaluation. Many, many thanks to those of you that reply. Scott -- Scott A. I have the zipgsx1600, which is the biggest expandable board that they put out. i highly recommend it for anyone that is wondering. _SK

It can be expanded to 32k cache and 10mhz. However, I guess I'm also wondering if anyone has this... and how compatible are these cards with additional cards like SCSI and Sonic Blaster? Does anyone know of any incompatibilities? Thanks, Mike

COuld someone pleas either post or mail me the description of all the varios ZipGS's that are now available? I understand ther's a small one that's like just chip, and another that's chip-board but not expandaable and several others. last...Is Zip Technologies available through Email on Internet somewhere? Or through Compuserve-Internet Gateway or maybe Applelink Gateway? Thanks for any help you can give me. cs40s014@yogi.ucdavis.edu
