Mattd speaks of many a NerfThing as well as launching ICBKs
(Inter-Cubical Ballistic Kooshes) and other fun stuff going on at
Apple.
Just to set the record straight, Apple does NOT hold the monopoly on
fun places to work nor do they have all the goofballs. We have plenty
right here at Microsoft. You see, our layout here is different than
Apple's. While they have a large room sectioned off by cubicle walls,
we operate entirely in an office environment. Therefore ICBKs are
right out. On the other hand, Super Bouncy Balls are a preferred
weapon.
One will also see those high-capacity long distance water guns. You
know, the constant stream 60feet shooters. Late at night, you'll find
people participating in Swing Around the Wing - indoor golf.
When we get really bored, we truck off to Vancouver Island for a
bungy jump (well, only a handful of us did it once - I have video
tape!).
Oh, we *did* play with an Aerobie indoors (not the boomerang). It
bounced around a lot and it was pretty hard to get it to go straight
down the hallway.
Matt: have you got the Nerf bow and arrow set? We were gonna get a
few, but they're $20 each! Oh well. Back to our scheduled topic...
