This is probably a very simple question but I can't seem to find any info to help. I am using an Apple IIe with a Super Serial card in slot #1 configured to drive a printer. How do I mask the output of the high order bit? This results in extended graphics characters on my IBM printer. My other Apple has a Microbuffer II that automatically supressed the 8th bit. The Super Serial card does not seem to support this capability. What can be done to allow the SSC to drive the IBM printer? The printer doesn't have a way to ignore this bit either.
