By popular request I've posted a bunch of my old Apple II software at ucrmath.ucr.edu in the PC subdirectory available via anonymous ftp. The "816" and ".SHK" stuff is (obviously) for the Apple IIGS. Most of the other stuff starting with LISA or ANIX is for the Apple IIe (128k). Most of it includes source listings. Warning: The Apple II LISA source files are *not* compatible with the LISA816 assembler. LISA/816 uses a totally different tokenization scheme. If I can locate 3-1/2" floppies of SDL/65 (a compiler for the Apple II) I will upload that as well (complete with sources). For those who have no idea what I'm talking about: Lisa is a very fast 65xxx assembler for the apple II/gs On the GS it can assemble at speeds up to 100,000 lines/minute (this is for real programs, not comments or nops). On an Apple II, LISA can assemble at about 20,000 lines/minute. Both versions include a syntax-directed editor which catches errors during the editing phase. The Apple II version has a line editor, the 816 version has a mouse-based screen editor. ANIX is a prodos shell similar to APW. ANIX.SHK contains work I'd done on ANIX for the GS (including a nifty, if I must say so myself, console driver for the GS). Most of the above comes with source listings. enjoy. *** Randy Hyde BTW, Everything except LISA/816 is hereby placed in the public domain. LISA816 is copyrighted by Brian Fitzgerald and myself. You can copy it if there is no money involved (i.e., we don't want it on shareware collection disks). If you want to so distribute it, send me email for appropriate details.
