I was also thinking about a GS Telnet project based on the old NCSA
Telnet 2.2 code that does its own IP. I haven't done any GS
programming in ages, but my Mac programming isn't bad and I have a
friend nearby who is a *real good* GS programmer. Since I have the
luxury of having an Mac IIfx with A/UX on a seperate drive networked
to my IIgs, I can develop in a enviroment that can at least properly
test telnet capabilities. I haven't taken a look at the code yet,
but I expect the job *not* to be easy. I've got an old copy of the
Appleshare programmers book for the GS, and getting the GS to reveal
how to get into its DDP packet stream will not be a cakewalk. If
anyone wants to collaborate on this project or offer suggestions, I'm
all ears.
