Hello, All, I'm having a bit of a problem downloading hyper C, or at least the file hyperc.sdk on plains.nodak.edu (134.129.111.64). I have successfully gotten the files to my local unix box. I've tried downloading the files (using xmodem) to my apple2e as ascii, and in binary mode, receiving them as "XMODEM ProDOS" (I'm running ProTERM 2.2 here, and it stomps all over my AE RamDisk, but that's another complaint...). Using the binary mode I can open them up in Shrinkit (3.0.3, included with ProTERM). Shrinkit recognizes that it's a 140K disk format, and starts to unshrink them/it. Then it beeps and dumps me into the moniter. Can anyone give mo pointers to where I'm going wrong? Have others successfully downloaded these files? I want C on my //e! And when you have it, can you PUHLEEZ get some of the files back up in an archive of individual files? I'm without a 5.25 drive right now, and I'd like to see what this HyperC is exactly. -- ^ ^ Avery Ray Colter /^\___/^\ avery@netcom.com {apple|claris}!netcom!avery ( o _ o ) elfcat@btr.btr.com {decwrl|mips|sgi}!btr!elfcat \ /v\ / 71067.606@compuserve.com (415) 839-4567 \_*-*_/ `-' Afternoon has gently passed me by. - The ELFCAT!
