Yes, Pecan Software is still around, although they moved their base of
operation to Europe (England to be specific where there is more Power System
usage). However, I still think they have a U.S. office in New York. As far
as I know all the Power System compilers are available for the Apple IIGS.
I personally have the UCSD Pascal compiler and Assembler and I distinctly
remember people talking about the Fortran compiler for the IIGS Power System.
And I have seen the Modula-2 compiler as a friend of mine has it.

Here are the addresses I have for Pecan:
     Pecan Software Europe
     Victoria House
     10 Kellaway Avenue, Bristol BS6 7XR

     Pecan Software Systems Inc,
     1410 39th Street
     Brooklyn, New York 11218
     (718)851-3100 FAX : (718)853-6972

If you still cannot locate Pecan contact me or go to CodePort on CompuServe
and leave a message, the Pecan people will hang out there every now and then
to answer questions...also, there should be other Power System and Apple
P-System users.

Also, if you (or anyone else) uses the Power System or Apple P-System I
would suggest joining USUS as they have lots of good source code and can
provide several resources for programmers (USUS is not just the P-System
anymore by the way, although it definitely IS the place for Power System
and P-System information).

USUS can be contacted at: USUS
                           P.O. Box 1148
                            La Jolla, CA 92038

Lastly, as I said above, Pecan has all their compilers for the IIGS, I'm
actually unsure about the C compiler, but I'm 100% percent sure they have
the UCSD Pascal and Modula-2 Compiler and almost positive on the Fortran-77
and BASIC compiler...can't see any reason why they wouldn't have their C
compiler available though.
