Sorry for the mash letter, but I'm kind of pressed for time at the moment.
1) RE: Tool 35. I recently upgraded to system 5.0.4, and immediately had
trouble with several PD programs. Finally, one of them gave me a missing tool
error, and I checked, and sure enough I was missing a handful of tools. Don't
know if Apple forgot 'em or the dealer deleted 'em or what, but I copied the
missing tools from my old 5.0.2 disk.
2) RE: Vitesse and outline fonts for GS. Bravo! I wasn't even hoping for such
a thing!
3) Selling things. I remember in the past lots of debates on whether or not it
was okay for individuals to advertise, here on the list, used equipment they
are trying to sell (this being by far the biggest market for apple II equipment
that we can access). What's the current consensus on this? Is there another
forum that's good for such things?
4) What do you all think of the idea of creating a new company and trying to
buy the Apple II from Apple? I mean, if they don't really *want* it, why not
turn the sucker over to people who care for it? (Far-fetched, I know, but
leave no stone unturned....M00se Illuminati Computers? Hmmmm...)
