[comp.sys.apple2] Diversi-Tune and SynthLab problems

lecates@chopin.udel.edu (Roy M Lecates) (05/21/91)

I recently installed GS/OS 5.0.4 on my Vulcan, and it works perfectly.
However, when I try to run Diversi-Tune, the text screen says "PRESS RESET"
and the program halts. When I run SynthLab, the entire screen (including
the border) turns gray and the program halts. Neither program crashes into
the monitor, they just seem to hang. Both have worked in the past from
5.0.2, but seem to dislike the new system. Any help will be appreciated.

Diversi-Tune you should be booting off a 3.5" or from ProDOS 8. As for you
having SynthLab working with 5.0.2... likely story... you need the MIDISynth
Tool in your Tools folder. Well, I guess you MIGHT be able to run it if you
had the MIDISynth Tools with System 5.0.2.
