[comp.sys.apple2] Postscript to file on GS?

mcgurrin@MWUNIX.MITRE.ORG (06/05/91)

My apologies, as I recall someone asking this before, but I can't find the
answer in my files. How can I generate a postscript output file from
Appleworks GS? I don't own a laserprinter, but have laserprinters available
at work, and Mac's (and I've brought postscript files generated on a Sun over
to a Mac and printed them). Thanks!

it's very simple to create a PostScript file using AWGS. Just copy the Laserwriter
driver from the System Tools Disks and rename it to anything but what it was. Then
select this printer from the DC Printer CDEV. In Page Setup, make sure it's set
to condensed. Then select Print from the File menu and hold donw OA-F as you click
the OK button (or print button...). A file called Postscript.GSxx will be created
in your */system/drivers directory. That's it!
