[comp.sys.apple2] Psygnosis and Apple IIGS Games

andy@pro-palmtree.cts.com (Andy Stein) (06/15/91)

Do you want to see Lemmings and other great Psygnosis games for your Apple IIGS? Would you like to play such famous games as Shadow of the Beast I and II? Do you feel the urge to blast 3-D aliens into vapor in Armour-Geddon? Well, you can, except ther

e's just this one little problem.

Psygnosis, the maker of these wonderful games, doesn't think we're interested. So, what do you have to do? Correct their blatant ignorance. Many programmers and developers have approached them, wanting to do Apple IIGS versions of their existing gam

es, and possibly future games, but they don't feel there's a market. They didn't even realize there were 1.5 million Apple IIGSes out there. But, you can do something.

According to a Psygnosis representative, if enough interest is shown, they will program and publish these games for the Apple IIGS. If enough letters are received, then their minds will change quickly and positively. Please write to the following ad

dress if you wish to see (and more importantly, play) these games for your Apple IIGS. And spread this message across all the bulletin boards and commercial online services throughout the country.
