Ok - hopefully someone out there can help me... This is something that I don't know how to do in basic and the only other language I have any knowledge of is C - and that is only a LITTLE bit - therefore, I can't do it myself until I learn more C... So, since I need it now, here I go... I need to know how I can FORCE the modem to drop it's carrier (hang up). I don't mean something like sending +++ to it - because that can create problems if the other end is sending data constantly (it doesn't get a long enough pause - even if I set the pause value WAY down.) How does ProTerm do it? I'm using a Courier HST from the modem port on my GS. If someone can write it in assembly in a little program I can execute - or knows how to do it in basic - or has other suggestions, please let me know! Thanks... -- /--------------------------------------------------------------------------\ \ The Gypsy gypsy@silver.lcs.mit.edu The Gypsy / / "Can I play with Madness?" - Iron Maiden \ \--------------------------------------------------------------------------/
