I have a friend with one of the first TransWarp GS's to hit the market (he bought it directly from AE soon after it was released). Everything functions hunky dorey with the PAL upgrade and DMA SCSI, except that the French-made Cdev called 'TW Setup' doesn't want to work. I have re-installed both the Cdev and System 5.04 on his HD, as well as disabled all other non- Apple DA's, Cdevs, and Inits, but to no avail. His setup is: Rom 01 GS-Sauce w/ 4 megs TWGS v1.1g (that version is from memory, so don't quote me) DMA SCSI w/ Quantum 105 meg Audio Animator etc. The only thing that I can think of is that TW Setup is incompatible with the earliest versions of the TWGS. It works fine on my Rom 01. Can anyone shed some light on this?
