Mike, While you can do some draw-like operations in AppleWorks GS, it surely isn't a draw program. The example you quoted, of being able to squash a circle and still get good looking output is true, and does show the positive side. The negative side is that there are many many standard draw tools missing and that the Draw/Paint module of AWGS simply wasn't written as a draw tool. Try this: Draw two objects. Group them together as one with the group command. Ungroup them - it should work fine, giving you two objects agian. Group them again and SAVE the file. Close the file, open the saved file, try to ungroup them.... OOPS! AWGS forgot all about the two objects as being separate. This doesn't happen in a real draw program... Seymour
