Thanks to all those who have sent me info on the dvije{pt} stuff. I got it via ftp with no problems. I have another question on the same subject thought. I installed latex on the SparcStation/1 along with both dvijep and dvijet. Running at 1500 magnification (300dpi) i can get dvijet to print out with only minor problems on the HP LaserJet II. However, these minor problems still leave it unusable. dvijet appears to work fine except for a very few characters that it still seems to be barfing on. I get the output and there are 4-6 "special" characters (ascii-type) that appear on the left side of the output page. On the same line where this stuff appears, there are blank streaks accross some of the text. It appears that either something is not getting set up properly in my printcap or i'm missing something in dvijet. I'll include the printcap entry i'm using in case someone sees something obvious. Can someone help? -------printcap entry--------- laserlp|hp|lp|hplaserjet used as lp :\ :br#9600:\ :sb:\ :sh:\ :du#1:\ :fc#0300:\ :lp=/dev/ttyb:\ :sd=/usr/spool/lpd:\ :tr=\Ef:\ :xc#040: -------printcap entry--------- Maybe i need a "binary mode"?
