There is an excellent book available on WEB, which should answer just about any question you might have on getting started with this system. it is: WEAVING A PROGRAM Literate programming in WEB Author: Wayne Sewell Copyright: 1989 @ Van Nostrand Reinhold Price : 34.95 at the local Uni bookstore (not known for discounts) I should add that I know neither the author, the publisher, nor anyone who has ever met either of the above. This is an endorsement rather that an add. It covers the different "dialects", and includes a chapter on porting.I was to get both TANGLE and WEAVE up and running on an Atari ST within a day with no major problems, from the original .WEB files with the Prospero Pascal system. Anyway, this is an excellent reference for anyone trying to get going. .....now,if I can just get used to thinking in WEB... Dan Jones dgjst@cis.unix.pitt.edu
