Can anyone out there supply a pointer to a TeX previewer for the DECstation 3100? It must run under DECwindows, DEC's version of X-windows. Ideally, it should be one that has been proved to work on the 3100, but generic X previewers should also be okay. Thank you John Burke (jeburke@jhuvms.hcf.jhu.edu or @jhunix.hcf.jhu.edu)

The generic xdvi program that comes with X11 R3 is WONDERFUL on the destation. It comes up quickly and gives a very good representation of the output. I now (rarely) print anything with errors because I can easily check it using the previewer. Michael M. Meyer Statistics/Academic Computing Carnegie Mellon University.
