Some years ago I compiled a bibliography entitled "Physical and Chemical Properties of Water" (published by John Wiley in 1976) which has a section on properties of ice, including the crystal structures. Here are a couple of references from that bibliography that look relevant: Structure of Ice-III. Acta Cryst B 24(2): 1317-27 (1968) Structure of the Ices. B. Kamb p9-24 of Water and Aqueous Solutions,..., Horne, R.A.(ed), Wiley, 1972. Crystallography of Ice. B. Kamb p28-41 of Physics and Chemistry of Ice, Whalley, E., etal (ed), Royal Society of Canada, 1973. Don Hawkins AT&T-Bell Laboratories, Murray Hill (201)-582-6517

Another good reference: Kauzmann & Eisenberg, "Structure & Properties of Water," or something like that, late 60's. Was responsible for the upsurge of interest in phys. chem of water & ice that occurred in the 70's, which Felix Frank's series exemplifies. All the necessary water/ice phase diagrams are there. {philabs,cmcl2!rocky2}!cubsvax!peters (Peter S Shenkin; Dept of Biol Sci; Columbia Univ; NY, NY 10027; 212-280-5517)
